As soon as I returned from Boston I was so happy to kickstart the holidays at An Affair Of The Heart in Tulsa. If you haven’t heard of An Affair Of The Heart, it’s a truly unique event that happens several times a year in Oklahoma and a few surrounding areas. And if you have been following me for a while, I featured ten amazing gift items in a holiday gift guide for you to discover at the show in this post and also this post. An Affair Of The Heart brings together the creators of the world who have an especially strong sense of community, creativity, and soul, and all of the exhibitors I got to talk to were incredibly friendly and talented. While I was there I spotted some amazing entrepreneurs that I thought I’d share with you today of course with huge emphasis on the ten I have already included! I hope you enjoy the pics from the event too as well as pics from the blogger event I co-hosted with Lisa and Kristin! I feel confident your other favorite Tulsa bloggers will be working with An Affair Of The Heart in 2019 too!Read More
Today is Small Business Saturday, an opportunity to join in and support the small businesses in your neighborhood and across the country by shopping small!!! And I do not know about you but I feel very blessed to be alive during a time when many of my favorite small businesses are owned by women. So many amazing boss babes are pushing boundaries and showing just how strong and successful women can be. As a person who has had my own small business I can tell you that it’s not easy to go out on your own and start something from scratch. It’s a huge risk but if you have a network of likeminded women who can support you, advise you, and grow alongside you, that makes all the difference. I’m proud to say that I have a network like this of my own: We attend each other’s events, shop for each other’s products, show each other some love on social media, and support each other in any way we can.Read More
One week ago today I launched my holiday gift guide with my top ten gift items I was most excited about from the upcoming An Affair of a Heart show in Tulsa! If you missed that post find it here. It’s such a beautiful curated selection of one-of-a-kind gifts just in time for the holidays to fit anyone’s taste and budgets!
It’s getting closer and closer to the shopping event of the year where we will all explore miles of aisles of beautiful items to purchase for ourselves and loved ones! Attendees will have the chance to browse—and purchase—everything from clothing to artwork, ceramics, gourmet edibles, bags, apothecary, and more. And as promised I want to show you my top ten picks in my natural environment! I truly adore every single one of these pieces and just cannot wait for you to meet the vendors behind them! And I cannot wait to jumpstart the Thanksgiving holiday with my friends and family at An Affair of The Heart-the funnest curated shopping event in Middle America.Read More
And I don’t know about you but I am so fed up with mass-produced merchandise and stuffy, crowded stores! I really would love to avoid shopping mall options and big department stores this year all together if I am being 100% frank.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve got quite a long list of ladies (and gentleman) to shop for and the idea of finding the perfect present for all of your family and friends can be a little bit overwhelming. So today, I am here to help you get your gifting done all in one place.
And that is why I have partnered with An Affair of The Heart Tulsa and their vendors this year! They do so many great shows all year long (I attended the summer July show and just loved the concept) and I am so excited for this November show November 16th-18th in Tulsa! This event is on trend and so chic! Not only is this the place to find unique gifts but An Affair of The Heart is just the best weekend to get together with your family and/or best girlfriends and spend some time together shopping and doing something off the beaten path.Read More

All month I have been sharing some ways you can celebrate Earth Month and aim to follow the motto “everyday is Earth Day!” And today I am so excited to share my experience with Paperless Post. A few months ago I had received a dinner party invitation IN MY INBOX and it was so incredibly beautiful. I immediately knew it was a Rifle Paper beauty as I am obsessed with pretty much anything Anna Bond touches. Her signature, hand-painted botanicals have made her the darling of the stationery world since 2009. Her beloved flora, fauna, and doll-faced figures radiate a sense of whimsy and charm. SWOON. I instantly of course RSVP'd "Oui" to the Frenchie Soireè and the stalked the Paperless Post site and was blown away by the gorgeous Rifle Paper extensive collection.Read More
All of us here at Go French Yourself HQ are big fans of this California like weather and we are so excited to break out some wedges and floral and tropical prints. There are so many things we look forward to every time the season changes, and the arrival of the new Box of Style is at the very top of our list. It makes it so easy for us to instantly update our fashion and beauty essentials for the coming months. Plus, it’s our favorite way to learn about new products, test out new trends and discover up-and-coming brands. And with Rachel Zoe and her amazing team curating the boxes herself...I mean....WE DIE!Read More

Oh Em Geeeeee- Hello. Bonjour. It’s officially February — So what does that mean? I’ve got hearts, flowers, and chocolates on the brain! We’re less than two weeks away from one of my absolute favorite holidays: Valentine’s Day so today’s post is centered around the theme of love. Although most people would argue that Valentine’s day is a holiday created by greeting card companies and it's easy to get cynical, but here at Go French Yourself, we prefer to embrace it fully and get all lovey dovey. Because whether you’re single or attached, Valentine’s Day is a sweet occasion to show your loved ones just how much you care. For me personally, it’s a time for me to really honor the important people in my life. I think by now, we’ve all come to the conclusion that Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to just be for lovers. Little holidays always make a great excuse to treat yourself or others- through big or little ways- it’s totally up to you! And what better way to celebrate all the love in your life than by getting them something special? What should you do with your significant other/girlfriends/family/self ?!
