Learning About Clean Beauty Over Masks + Mimosas

Did you know that there are over 1,400 chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union?

The United States has only partially banned 30 chemicals from our personal care products and has not passed a law since 1938.

Yeah…I know…..crazy, right?!

So of course I jumped on the opportunity to host a Beautycounter event at my house for my friend Cassie who recently started selling these fantastic products.

Armed with Quiche Lorraine, fresh fruit, mimosas, and skin care I invited a few of my best girls over to relax and try some products out. Luckily, Brooke, Danielle, and Judy are super adventurous and are always down to learn about cleaner options. I mean just look at these interesting facts below. No. 1 Balancing Facial Oil: The Balancing Collection was the first group of Beautycounter products I tried yesterday and this product in particular stood out to me. This citrus-scented facial oil quickly absorbs and penetrates to awaken and replenish skin. Lightweight and silky smooth, it features a proprietary blend of seven natural oils.

Overnight Resurfacing Peel- Goodnight, dullness. Good morning, glow. Balancing Facial Mask: This mask is amazing! I love the slightly minty smell, the way the mask hardened without pulling on my skin, and how clean and refreshed my face felt afterwards. Plumping Facial Mist- Spray on and plump up. Active-infused and alcohol-free, this revitalizing mist preps skin, sets makeup, and refreshes throughout the day.
