Friday Five// The Beauty Edition Volume 1
(This post is sponsored by Skylar Body and TL Communications but all opinions are my own. I truly do not recommend anything I am not using and loving myself)
Anything light, airy, fresh, and inspiring. It seems as if my current favorites are mirroring the season this month, because that’s what I've been surrounding myself with and I am sooo excited to share with you now, too! I am noticing a color theme here too!
Below I have rounded up 5 products that I am currently crushing on and they would make perfect additions to a bridal shower, or a birthday gift!!!!!
… and I will totally look the other way if you throw in a few extra for yourself! I mean....I cannot get enough of these. Getting all settled back in from the month long moto trek Northwest and it feels so good to be a girly girl again!
Natural Perfume / Skylar Body
Why I love it: I have talked about Skylar Body before actually in depth...catch that post here. And I seriously just cannot get enough. At Skylar Body, they offer natural, hypoallergenic, and cruelty-free perfumes with free at-home sampling. Better sourced, better made, and better priced. I now have Coral and Meadow. And I talked about Coral last time (my absolute all season favorite) so today I want to highlight Meadow. I am loving the soft notes of tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom for the summer season. The light and flirty scent embodies everything I love about flowers without being overly fragrant though. I mean sometimes floral scents can be too much. This is the perfect balance. For dreamers and doers, Meadow is intriguing, feminine, and elegant just like me!!! I have also enjoyed layering Meadow and Coral too. And I am thinking about getting another sample palette delivered because they are just so great for travel. I have several upcoming trips coming up and these are so good. They are only $20 and the $20 cost will be credited towards your next order of full-sized product(s), so sampling really pays off. We all probably have a favorite perfume, but I like to switch it up based on the kind of look and feeling I am going for, especially during different seasons. Scent is the finishing touch to any outfit my dears!

Exfoliating Sugar Cubes / Harper + Ari
Why I love it: The packaging alone is what first grabbed my attention! Hello beautiful. And desert for the skin..sign me up please. They seriously smell good enough ton eat. Harper + Ari Exfoliating Sugar Cubes are sized perfectly for individual use. One cube will exfoliate and nourish the entire body. And sometimes I actually break it in half and that tends to do the job too! These magical cubes live in your shower or bath and you just gently massage over wet skin. (I like to break the cube up in our hands first with a little water!) I concentrate on my elbows and my heels...as these tend to be the driest parts of my body. But I love using them all over my legs so they feel nice and smooth. After a long day...a nice bubble bath is my fave thing to do...and these gems can just take off the layers of the day. I went with peach but you can also chose coconut, lemon, tangerine, blue raspberry, or apricot. Their insta gives me all the feels too.
Rose Hair & Body Oil/ Ouai
Why I love it: I am all about versatility these days. I love a multi functional product. This luxurious, rose-gold (hello my fave color) Hair & Body Oil is a silicone-free fusion of nutrient-rich oils from all over the world. The perfect multitasker, the fast-absorbing formula illuminates hair and skin as it restores moisture and repairs damage. Absinthium oil rehydrates dry skin and hair, rose hip oil reduces the appearance of scars and redness, and shea oil nourishes dry, dull skin and hair. No Parabens...OMG merciiiiiii. And gotta love a brand that doesn't test on animals. On my hair I work one to three drops when my hair is wet and I let it air dry. I also smooth through dry strands after a blowout to calm frizz. For my body I apply the rose hair and body oil daily to soften dull, dry skin and lock in moisture for a dewy, radiant glow. I love how my skin looks!! I am so hooked.
Thanakha Radiant Bronzer/Volition
Why I love it: I love having a sun-kissed glow in the summer, especially since I avoid the sun like the plague. I also am getting really self conscience of my larger pores these days and my summer freckles. So I know you are thinking...WTH is Thanakha...I mean, I sure was. The long-isolated nation of Myanmar, still known to many as Burma, is one of the last truly, magical destinations of the Orient. Centuries before BB or CC creams existed, Thanakha paste was used to minimize the appearance of pores, fine lines, and imperfections, while offering long-term skincare benefits. Skin-perfecting Thanakha paste is combined with this high-performing bronzer fluid to bring out the skin’s natural glow while diffusing imperfections. This unique complexion enhancer hydrates, corrects and conceals - all while adding a flawless, sun-kissed glow to the skin. I love the shimmer in this bronzer! And am noticing an overall improved skin texture. It's incredibly moisturizing and quickly absorbs. I also love that this product is vegan! And P.S..this company is revolutionizing the beauty industry...

DIY Charcoal Mask/Yes To
Why I love it: I adore weekly spa nights at home and have made a promise to take better care of my skin. Masks are so easy, especially for the babe-on-the-go. At 37 I have been experiencing some slight break outs and my skin just seems very congested since getting back from vacation. I adore this Yes To DIY powder-to-clay mask. The charcoal and tomatoes detoxify and help clear skin. The unique powder formula can be mixed with natural ingredients like orange juice, lemon or green tea for added benefits too. You can even dd honey for moisture. I feel like such a chemist! The single use mask includes a bowl and spatula for easy mixing and application. And at $3.29....I mean...how can you resist stocking up?!
Really hope you enjoy this darlings!
I will be showcasing 5 more of my faves next Friday!!!
