Ruggable Review

We finally decided to try Ruggable in our kitchen as the space needs a good runner. This area gets a ton of action from almost daily cooking, washing dishes, and an area the pups love to lounge! The runner we had was too thick and hard to vacuum so it just never felt clean. ( and wasn’t clean)

When I posted my new Ruggable on stories, many of you wanted an honest update so I wanted to write a post to give you my opinion on our purchase.

The runner does seem very durable! It has already survived muddy shoe prints and a coffee spill! I love the ease of throwing it into the washing machine and not having to worry about it.

I will say Ruggable rugs are very very thin. If you’re looking for something plush that’s cozy underfoot … this is not it. However, we used our Ruggable rug in the kitchen and we don’t sit on the floor in there, so the thickness of the rug (or lack thereof) didn’t bother us. However I would not want one in my living room or bedrooms.

We went with the Quadra Orange Rug. The design of this Quadra Orange Rug epitomizes the minimalist aesthetic of Bauhaus artist Josef Albers. Fine lines in warm hues of wine red and copper overlap to create an optical illusion of squares, making this a decorative accent that adds modern sophistication to any space. I would recommend paying extra for the cushioned rug pad too especially if you are using this where you wash dishes! It adds some extra support for my feet!

I really love how it compliments the color in our chairs.

And Of course just Detach, Reattach, Repeat

Thanks to the innovative Cling Effect™ technology, this Rug Cover can be detached and reattached to the Rug Pad without losing its grip.

When it's time for a wash, simply remove the Rug Cover from the Pad, throw it in the washer and dryer, and reattach it back to the Pad.

Voilà-enjoy a clean rug all the time!

I do think a Ruggable would be perfect for an outdoor patio too or a balcony so I think we are going to get a few more for our Santa Fe home. Love the idea of their door mats too!
