Three Cheese Quiche Recipe

Most quiches start with three basic ingredients: a pie crust, heavy cream (or half and half), and eggs. From there you could go in many directions with meats, veggies, and cheeses. But for today’s recipe I decided to go with a classic three cheese quiche! We are trying to really limit the meat we eat. Not give it up completely..just not consume so much of it.

And who can resist some ridiculously cheesy eggs and a flaky pie crust?!! I mean !!!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pie crust ( I love this recipe)

  • 6 eggs

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded

  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • ½ cup swiss cheese, shredded

  • ¼ cup yellow onion, diced

  • 2 ½ tablespoons green onions, chopped

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and make your pie crust

    2. Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl.

    3. Add the cheeses and onions to the egg mixture and stir until fully combined.

    4. Roll out pie crust and press into a 9 inch pie dish. Crimp edges with a fork if desired.

    5. Pour the egg mixture into the prepared pie crust and bake for 38-40 minutes or until quiche is fully set in the middle.

    6. Let cool for 8-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or room temperature!
