Simple Fettuccine Alfredo With Asparagus and Peas Featuring AMORE

Celebrating late summer with a delicious simple Fettuccine Alfredo With Asparagus and Peas. What I love about pasta is there are so many ways to make it and this warm weather pasta is just perfection! It’s so easy to put together too! Just toss slices of blanched asparagus and fresh Green peas with a tangle of cooked fettuccine with garlicky buttery flavor, shower with grated Parmesan and serve.

I absolutely love the Garlic Paste from Amore. It’s imported from Italy and it’s so easy to use with no waste; just squeeze out the amount needed, cap and refrigerate! It’s a mellow mixture of fresh garlic, sunflower and olive oils, and salt. It captures the fresh, intense garlic flavor you’d expect if you squeezed the cloves, but it’s fast, versatile and easy! And I love easy.

RECIPE Ingredients:

1 Packet Fettuccine Pasta (8oz)

1 Bunch Asparagus

½ cup Fresh or Frozen Green Peas

1 teaspoon Amore Garlic Paste

1/2 cup butter

1 ½ Cups Heavy Whipping Cream

2 teaspoons Amore’s Garlic Paste

½ Teaspoon Italian Seasoning

½ Teaspoon Salt

¼ Teaspoon Pepper

2 Cups Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese

Salt pepper and red pepper flakes

Method:

1.Trim the hard ends of asparagus and then cut it into the 2 inch pieces and keep aside.

2. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the packet instructions, remove it into the colander, reserve the cooked water into the pot and keep aside. While your pasta is boiling make your Alfredo sauce ( step 5)

3. In reserved cooked pasta water, add asparagus and green peas and cook it for about 3-4 mins, remove it or drain it and keep aside.

4. Take a deep skillet or pan. Add olive oil and butter. Once hot enough add 1 teaspoon of Amore’s Garlic Paste and sauté it for a few seconds. Add cooked fettuccine, asparagus and green peas in it.

5. Meanwhile have your Alfredo sauce ready .

Steps for sauce : Add the butter and cream to a large skillet. Simmer over low heat for 2 minutes. Whisk in the Amore Garlic Paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper for one minute. Whisk in the parmesan cheese until melted. Serve immediately.

6. Switch off the flame. Add grated parmesan and red pepper flakes, toss it lightly and done.

7. The Fettuccine Alfredo with Asparagus and Peas is ready. You can serve fresh with extra grated parmesan and salt and pepper if desired
