My love affair with all things FRENCH is longstanding and I know I am not the only Francophile out there, so this year’s francophile gift guide has been curated with some lovely trés chic things — from clothes to accessories to parfum to foodie delights — that I know your French-obsessed loved one will adore.

I am really feeling the lapse of French cinema and wonder if you notice that too?

French movies are popular around the world, but they are not always easy to access for everyone. Current streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu don’t offer a wide range of French movies and programs and they are often only available for a limited time. France creates about the same number of films as the U.S., but French movies are underrepresented in streaming platforms for a variety of reasons. These include movie company inefficiencies in distribution and internationalizing production along with changing habits of how consumers watch films. Streaming took off during the first pandemic year and the industry is trying to catch up.

They don't say Paris is a good idea for no reason but when you can’t get to Paris for the weekend..you can find little glimpses of it wherever you might be! And today I am sharing some wonderful places that remind me of France in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The story of Sézane begins with a forgotten suitcase and a love of vintage. Upon discovering an abandoned collection of vintage clothing, Morgane Sézalory began making slight adjustments to the pieces, and selling her finds online under the name ‘Les Composantes’. Her monthly drops, or rendez-vous, became an anticipated event in France.
