Scandi Christmas Decor Featuring Nordstjerne

Nordstjerne has been apart of our holiday decor now for many years but this years color palette might be one of my favorites. I wanted to do a black and white themed Christmas and I just love how everything is turning out!

Nordstjerne designs home accessories which combines functionality with a hint of decadence. They are greatly inspired by the rawness of the Scandinavian and Nordic landscapes and they wish to bring that unique feeling indoors with their simple yet elegant items that can fit any interior.

One autumn Henriette Bach, founder of Nordstjerne, made some Christmas ornaments for herself in soft, raw material and soon friends stood in line to have some as well.

’Well, could this be a business’, Henriette Bach thought. After 13 years as an air hostess, she longed for exploring the more creative side of her personality, and she soon combined her knowledge of secret local ’Aladdin Hollows of handcraft’ with a talent for spotting trends and started designing her own products.

The demand has been overwhelming and today, Christmas ornaments are still a large part of Nordstjerne.

I love her folded ornaments for easy storage! I have beautiful ornaments in the shape of a trees, scoops, onions and jewels attached to a black bio-leather string and a magnetic closing. Easy to fold out and fold in. They all feature sustainable production using upcycled cotton fabric waste from the cotton industry. No plastic is used in production.

I also added the gorgeous polygon glitter star ornaments! They are gorgeous 3 dimensional star ornaments attached to a black leather string. I also added these black snowflakes. So simple and elegant! And I am so obsessed with these 5-point glitter stars in black!!

I also have the Christmas stockings in dark grey and off white! Finally a Christmas stocking which is spacious enough for the presents. The elegant stocking is made with a leather strap for easy hanging on your favourite spot.

And of course I adore my brass twinkle Christmas ornament for the top of the tree.
