During the hot summer months in Oklahoma, makeup is best applied like clothes – as minimally as possible, unless of course you are allergic to the sun like me. You guys, I am currently melting. However! When it’s 111 degrees outside and the humidity is that of the Amazon rainforest, there’s a thin line between the perfect bronzed, dewy glow, and the “I’m sweating in places I didn’t know existed please don’t touch me” situation. I have just stopped with makeup all together really because I end up just sweating it off so what the heck is the point??! The other day I had to walk 4 blocks because the parking downtown was hideous and I took off my sunglasses once I got into the restaurant and it looked as though I had two black eyes. A dear friend of mine who is a makeup artist told me about airbrush makeup and in my journey to simplify my summer makeup routine, I said sure! Absolutely ! I will try it! Hours later in this Oklahoma heat and my makeup looked flawless. It did not sweat off on my cell phone or my pillow! It's so bad but I even slept in it and it was still perfectly flawless the whole entire next day. I got so many compliments!
