Sunday Funday Off The Beaten Path at The Tulsa Garden Center

Sundays in my world have drastically changed. What once was a day of brunching on pancakes and Benedict's and never ending latte's and champagne has turned into leisurely mornings with reading, DIY beauty crafts, Spanish lessons, and Americano's. When you are changing your lifestyle around and focusing on health and fitness,  it's better to just stay away from all those temptations.

So after my super relaxing focused mornings, I pass the time on the tennis courts or indoor cycling, prep the meals for Lin and I for the busy week ahead, and try to do something off the beaten path, especially if it's outdoors  involving something with nature. And anything different is always fantastic...I just love getting off the beaten path and making some new discoveries and creating new memories. Every city has some hidden gems, you just have to look up and find them.

Flowers are without a doubt one of my favorite simple pick- me-ups in life. Whether I’m picking up some fresh cut blooms from my local farmers market or Whole Foods, or getting lost over on instagram looking at the gorgeous flower fields in Southern California. I am always in awe of these colorful and fragrant gift from Mother Nature. And with springtime in full swing, I just cannot get over how gorgeous this season is around Tulsa right now. The April showers are most definitely going to bring the May flowers. So I have been spending my weekends at The Tulsa Garden Center Conservatory lately. It's one of favorite places to pass the time and if you have not made it there this Spring yet local loves...ohhhh my goodness...make this a priority.

I can get lost here for hours at a time. The aromas are captivating and there is just a sense of peace that I feel here. It's a great place to think. And I have been doing a lot of thinking lately....

A lot of you have asked. Yes, I am still going to Barcelona.

Maybe I will see you at The Garden Center this weekend!!
