Traveling With Sarisha Beauty

Confession: I'm not entirely sure how to pronounce my latest beauty discovery, but I will tell you this, it's a fabulous one so go ahead and just bookmark this page so you have it for your next skin care shopping spree. These products are SO good! Everything feels and looks so luxurious, yet they will not break the bank one bit!

Surely that got your attention!

SARISHA was created to solve the problem of not finding affordable, gentle, plant-based and travel-friendly formulas to use during trips abroad and while living a busy city life back home. Sarisha means charm and elegance in Sanskrit. Sarisha is a fusion of French simplicity and ancient Indian beauty traditions. The process of creating and testing formulas began in 2016 and in 2018 the brand was finally shared with the world. Inspired by a fusion of Jaqueline’s Indian roots and her partner Grégoire's French roots, SARISHA offers formulas that are simple to understand and implement into one's daily routine. By using natural and plant-based ingredients that go back to ancient rituals, they aim to slow down time and offer a chance for everyday people like you and I to focus on their self-care, even if just for a few minutes.

Never one to let a new range pass me by, I was super excited to discover the brand when Jaqueline contacted me through email and consequently, very excited to be asked to review some best selling products!

In the quest for more hydration, I couldn't refuse their A3: Deep Hydration Face Serum. It’s a non-greasy face oil that contains high-quality plant-based ingredients that will provide intense hydration, yet won't clog pores. It is perfect for those who deal with dry skin or for those who simply need some extra hydration during dry and cold seasonsIt can be used day or night.

KEY BENEFITS

Pumpkin Seed Oil

It's combination of zinc and vitamin C help to firm and tighten skin. Rich in antioxidants, pumpkin seed oil protects skin from environmental stressors. The essential fatty acids sink deeply into skin to provide long-lasting moisturization without leaving skin feeling greasy. These acids also help balance oil, moisturizing dry skin and controlling oily skin.

Rosehip Oil

Being full of antioxidants, vitamins, essential fatty acids, and beta-carotene makes this oil not only intensely nourishing but one of the best for helping repair and rejuvenate skin. As it promotes skin regrowth, it helps to improve signs of scarring.

Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil

It's balancing effect helps to correct overly oily or very dry skin.

The second product from the range I was keen to try was the C1: Green Superfood Clay Mask (in fact, I'm currently wearing it whilst I type!). This clay mask combines high-quality superfoods, such as Spirulina, Matcha Powder and Guava Extract with French Green Clay to work as a nourishing, detoxifying and deep cleansing face mask. I tend to have very congested skin so I am really loving having this at my disposal. Just use a spoon to scoop out the mask into a mixing bowl. Add a a few drops of a liquid of choice and mix until a smooth paste is formed. Add more liquid if needed. Apply to problem areas or the entire face. Leave on for 15-20 minutes. Continue to spritz face with floral or filtered water while masking to keep the mask activated for a longer period of time. Rinse off gently with warm water and follow by using a facial oil to hydrate skin further.

KEY BENEFITS

Matcha

Matcha contains a high concentration of Chlorophyll, which offers protection to the skin from sun damage and reduces photo-ageing. Matcha is high in EGCG (epigallocatechin-3-gallate), which also means high in anti-bacterial properties. Due to the vitamin K content, matcha promotes blood circulation, when applied to the skin, helping to even out the skin tone, combat puffiness and dark circles around the eyes.

Spirulina

Excellent source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an anti-inflammatory necessary for a healthy nervous system. Spirulina contains many other nutrients, such as B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin A and vitamin E. It is also a source of potassium, chromium, copper, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, sodium, and zinc. It has soothing and calming effects, which makes it great for rosacea and sensitive skin. It helps eliminate acne-causing bacteria and helps the skin store moisture.

Guava Fruit

Rich in vitamin C, Guava Fruit helps improve the complexion and leaves skin looking radiant. It is high in lycopene, which is an antioxidant that helps to protect the skin from sun damage and environmental pollution. Guava is also rich in vitamins A, B, K and in potassium, helping to detoxify the skin and offer hydration while fighting the signs of aging.

The final product I am trying is the MEL Tea Tree Floral Water and oui, it is as good as it sounds. The Tea Tree Floral Water is created through the process of Hydro Distillation. This floral water can be used as a toner or as a liquid to mix with one of the clay masks. You do need to keep it refrigerated after opening.

I truly love to discover new beauty brands and Sarisha Beauty is one that I'm super excited about - for any beauty junkies out there, I think you will love them too. I can't wait to see what they do next! I plan on trying the bath soak and the hair oil next so I will definitely report back. I also am going to need the Anti-Jetlag face serum for my trip across the pond this summer. I will be in traveling Barcelona and France for three months!!!!!

Visit Sarisha Beauty’s website here!! You will have zero buyers remorse!!! All of the ingredients used in their formulas are plant-based and cruelty-free. They package their products in paper, never using plastic. They strongly believe that in order to achieve progress, one should not have to sacrifice their own health.
