New Favorite Turntable Speaker System Featuring Andover Audio

All of my favorite people all seem to have a turntable strategically perched in their stylish living rooms including me!!

But many of you may still be wondering: why vinyl?

Because vinyl is physical and not digital, the way it stores sound is literally exactly what was recorded, instead of a recreation. I once heard someone using this comparison: Think about looking at the Mona Lisa in person as opposed to looking at it on an HDTV. Sure, it looks great on the TV, but there are things you just can’t capture digitally, like the texture and 3D of a painting. So when listening to an old record, you’ll pick up tones and a quality of timbre that you might not get from an mp3 file, resulting in an overall richer playback experience. Vinyl is just far more high-quality…period.

I personally love vinyl for the experience; it’s a deep, physical connection to music. I adore the experience of dusting off the record, lining it up, dropping the needle, and kicking back, instead of just scrolling and tapping a screen. Vinyl really engages me in the listening process, and the medium encourages consumption of a complete album as a piece of work. Sometimes it’s just a nice thing to collect, even if it’s never listened to.

We had a big, booming system- huge speakers and an amazing receiver with our turntable but recently got rid of the receiver and speakers because we found them to be quite eyesores and they were taking over our living room plus we live in a condo building and could never really crank it up to the fullest.

So we sadly stored the turntable and I started doing some research on a different solution for us to listen to our beloved records!

That’s when I discovered Andover Audio and I was so ecstatic that they wanted to work with me so they kindly gifted me their Spinbase Turntable System. It’s and All-in-One Powered Speaker System for Turntables. You can connect to any Turntable, new or old, and this is so great as we love our turntable. It was Lin’s from college…HA, so it’s truly vintage. But we just love the dark wood- grain on it.

Other Amazing Features:

Built-In Phono Pre-Amp

Bluetooth

270º Sound Dispersion

IsoGroove Feedback-Free Performance

Bass and Treble EQ Controls

Headphone Output (1/8")

It comes in black or white! I went with black as it works better with our setup but that white is SOOOO beautiful. LOL.

We love the minimalist design. SpinBase has a clean design that seamlessly integrates with our home. It features a durable perforated metal grill, textured top surface, and large knob for improved ergonomics.

270º SOUND

SpinBase features four speaker drivers, designed to emit a large 270º sound stage – perfect for filling a room with expansive music. SpinBase gives listeners the detail, separation, and wide soundstage traditionally produced in separate stereo speakers. She sounds SO good y’all.

ALL MUSIC. NO NEEDLE SKIP.

Andover's IsoGroove Technology is a proprietary means of preventing feedback, resonances, or any other audio-disruptive noise that typically occurs when a turntable is placed next to a speaker system.

“Even when playing the Spinbase at a loud volume, its top surface remained well-damped and vibration-free.”
