The Most Amazing Fall Dishes To Enjoy In Tulsa Oklahoma

Fall is in full swing here in Tulsa! Finally!

The leaves are yellow and red, the air is crisp and The Sooners are playing. (At least I think they are ! That no score game was something else) And with every new season, comes new menus at our favorite Tulsa restaurants.

Amelia’s is one of our go-to favorites! And I was so thrilled to try out their new fall dishes. It was immediately clear that a ton of heart and soul went into every dish.

The Seared Sea Scallops & Rock Shrimp is complete heaven if you are a seafood lover. Enjoy Sweet Potato Pozole with Guajillo Chili, Avocado, Cilantro and Lime. The Scallops are cooked to perfection.

The Pappardelle Pasta is not to be missed! Charred Cabbage, Speck, Pumpkin Báchamel, and a 12 month aged Provolone!!! Holy Moly. We devoured it.

Don’t even get me started about the delicious Blueberry Cobbler. Biscuit Pastry, Maple Walnut Ice Cream, and Cinnamon Cookie……big enough to share but it’s so good you might want to not share.

And of course delicious drinks. They have some great Ports and a killer Brandy Alexander Cocktail.

Chef Andrew Donovan is truly so gifted. He received his degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 2000. His journey took him all over the country, from Georgia, to Manhattan, to Florida and Louisiana, where he learned about regional cuisine and worked in acclaimed restaurants. The association Best Chefs of America recognized Chef Andrew as one the America’s Best Chefs in 2013. He’s known for his simple, straightforward culinary style and passion for local, seasonal ingredients. He brings over 25 years of industry experience to the Tulsa dining scene. Growing up, Andrew ate family meals prepared by his father, an accomplished home cook who made everything from scratch; he remembers picking and canning fresh strawberries from his grandmother’s garden, which instilled in him an appreciation for simple, ingredient-driven cuisine. At 15, he got his first job washing dishes, earning the position of prep and line cook within six months.
