For those of you who have been following me for a while, you know I had a lot of success on my most recent Whole30 and have decided to keep eating a Whole30 lifestyle 80% of the time! I discovered a brand called Pure Indian Foods a few months ago and have been using their beautiful delicious products in my recipes. I am so excited to share them with you today!

Pure Indian Foods is run by the Agarwal family. Husband and wife team, Sandeep and Nalini Agarwal, brought the family ghee business to the United States in 2008. The business for them is a family legacy that they one day want to leave to their children. Currently, Sandeep runs the day-to-day operations, and Nalini makes all the ghee by hand in the traditional Indian way.

Since it’s about time to start loading up on some pantry staples again during quarantine this fall-winter, I am here to tell you about one that I can’t live without: nut butter. Gone are the days where peanut butter stole the show my friends especially if you are doing a Whole30.

People have all kinds of reasons for not drinking and sobriety today has been rebranded from “having a problem” to being one choice in support of a healthy lifestyle. Apart from social distancing, your first and immediate line of defense in these COVID-19 times is your immune system. Providing your body with enough nutrients is one way of ensuring you stay safe and far away from infections. And in this heat, (where the heck is fall BTW?) what’s better than having some refreshing, fall, Halloween mocktails, that double up as immunity boosters?!!!!!

I just came off of a Whole30 where alcohol is a huge no-no and I actually enjoyed not having alcohol so much that I have decided to see how long I can go without booze!
