Anyhow I decided to do some things for me yesterday as I gave myself a mental self care day! And plan to keep the lovely self care going all weekend.  I guess you could say this is going to be the weekend of me! As women, and especially as mothers, we always tend to put everyone's needs above our own. I have learned over the years that by taking care of myself and doing things that make me feel good I am a better girlfriend, mother and friend.  You cannot constantly run on empty. It's simply a recipe for disaster. The saying that you can not love someone if you don't love yourself is so true. Self love, self happiness-it matters. So from now on let's make an intention to put ourselves first every once and a while and NOT feel guilty about it.
